Broome County Record Contacts

Broome County Busted Mugshots is a private reference site, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, or retrieve an official booking record. Use the responsible government office for those services.

Official Sheriff and Records Contacts

The Broome County Sheriff’s Office is the published starting point for Sheriff records, jail inquiries, and the county facility. Call 911 for an emergency. The non-emergency and dispatch line is 607-778-1911, and the official menu routes callers to jail-inquiry and law-enforcement-records options. The research did not establish fixed public office hours, so confirm hours and the current process with the office before visiting.

For a Sheriff record, provide a full name, date of birth when available, agency, and a clear date range. The county FOIL form is the official route for a focused request. Ask for a record category and a photograph separately, because a report and image can have different access outcomes.

Which Office to Use

The agency that created a record is usually its first custodian. County custody is only one part of the Broome system.

  • For a booking record, custody question, FOIL process, or court path, start with the countywide record search.
  • For a specific wanted-person report or warrant-unit route, see Most Wanted Fugitives.
  • For a Binghamton, Vestal, Endicott, Johnson City, or NYSP arrest report, contact the originating agency’s records unit.
  • For a sentenced state-prison record, use the NYS DOCCS lookup and records route.
  • For federal custody, use the BOP locator. For immigration custody, use the ICE locator.
  • For a court outcome, use e-Courts or the clerk for the court that handled the case.

Corrections communication, bail, and family-service links are not public booking searches. The official Corrections page should be used for its current service information, while a records request should go to the proper custodian.
